A grand estate, an intimate experience
For Teylers Museum, we created a summer picnic experience for 50 guests on a beautiful estate in Aerdenhout. The challenge was to make a sprawling location feel personal and connected, without detracting from the scale and atmosphere of the surroundings.
Sonah Fine Foods took care of the entire organisation of the event: from catering and furniture to table styling and production. Through bespoke details, such as decorative installations featuring fresh peppers, the event was given its own unique character that perfectly matched the informal yet high-end atmosphere of the day.
Scattered across the estate, various moments of encounter unfolded. Guests were welcomed with fresh juices and healthy shots, enjoyed an elaborate high tea and gathered at a long table by the pond for a live Green Egg barbecue.
Live performances, including one by Niels Geusebroek, completed the experience. Through carefully chosen styling, a well-thought-out arrangement and a bespoke culinary experience, a large outdoor venue was transformed into a warm and intimate setting where guests came together, enjoyed themselves and made memories.
